Register Star – Thanks to funding awarded this month by the Ackerman Foundation, Camphill Hudson’s community dinners, once a weekly staple at Solaris, 360 Warren St., Hudson, will be returning later this summer, as a monthly event open to the general public.

Times Union – The Ackerman Foundation of Claverack announced award winners in its second year of providing grants to local nonprofits for community improvement activities. Twenty-one awards were made totaling $38,000, a significant advance from the foundation’s first grant cycle in 2022 that provided $15,000 to six organizations.

Register Star – Christmas came early for six local nonprofit organizations. The Columbia County Recovery Kitchen, Friends of Hudson Youth, Friends of the Public Square Hudson, High and Mighty Therapeutic Riding and Driving Center, Hudson Hall and PS21 were the recipients of the first Ackerman Foundation Award Grants.
